Video:  Let's Talk About It!
The loss of a family member or friend to suicide leaves the survivor feeling alone and unsure of where to turn for help.  As part of Touched By Suicide's efforts to support those survivors, we asked many of them about their feelings and how they are learning to cope with their loss.  We also talked to the "man on the street" to hear what their thoughts are about suicide.

This video shares the pain and resilience of survivors, and some current myths and stigmas about suicide and mental illness that Touched By Suicide is working to remove.

Let's Talk About It! aims to start a conversation.  It is hoped that you will find something in this video that speaks to you, personally, and that helps us all begin to talk about the lasting affects of suicide and how we can work to prevent others from becoming survivors.

It is time to dispel the many myths about suicide and engage the general public to talk about it and encourage those individuals who are suicidal to get help.  As long as we remain silent about suicide the number of suicides will only continue to rise.

Aren't over 40,000 deaths by suicide a year enough?  Let's Talk About It!
